Former District School Community Liaison for the Arabic Language at the Garden Grove Unified School District that is passionate about serving the community & diminishing language barriers. 5+ years in providing translations of forms, correspondence, and flyers for the district and the school sites. Translated multiple parent education programs PowerPoints & materials, Co-translated “The Ten Educational Commandments for Families” Workbook from English to Arabic & presented these educational classes to Arabic families. In addition, provides interpretation for the Arabic speaking families at IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other various district & school events and presentations.
